Prime Products provides industry-leading expertise in all of our core competencies by utilizing our Engineers' more than 60 years of combined experience. We welcome the opportunity to assist our customers in designing for manufacturability, or finding solutions for the manufacture of products that are already through the design stage. At Prime Products, we specialize in providing rapid prototypes to help validate our customers' designs or to prove our capabilities to new customers.
Customer needs are accommodated through the utilzation of a wide array of software products, including Autodesk Inventor Series, Hypermill, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw and EngraveLab. Our engineers can work with customer-supplied STEP or IGES models and DXF or other Windows-based artwork files. We make extensive use of digital photography to enhance our Control Plans, communicate issues with our customers and suppliers, and to document the appearance of finished products. Periodic production time studies are conducted to validate our quote estimates and labor time data, and to analyze our processes for cost reduction and quality improvement ideas. Nearly 100% of our production tooling is built in-house, including:
