Since the company was founded in 1975, our customer base has continued to grow. We now provide our services to more than 100 customers, mostly in the aerospace industry (both commercial and military), and some in the audio equipment, medical, and other various industries. Customer Service is a top priority at Prime Products. We make it our business to facilitate our customers' business. We try very hard to make our customers' lives easier by doing whatever is required to fit into their business models. Some of our biggest customers include:
Rockwell Collins
At Prime Products, we are proud of our long-standing relationship with Rockwell Collins. We have won numerous awards from Rockwell, including three Supplier of the Year awards in their plastics commodity. Prime Products is in complete compliance with Rockwell's business needs, including Long-term Contracts, Consigned Inventory, Schedule Agreements, Pay-by-receipt Accounting, Bar Coding and Special Processor Certificates of Compliance. We fully utilize Rockwell's on-line supplier portal for Quoting, Forecasting, Order Scheduling, Drawings, Specifications and Quality. At their request, we have partnered with them to make several in-house manufacturing initiatives in order to reduce lead times, reduce costs and improve quality. We work primarily with Rockwell's headquarters in Cedar Rapids, IA, and their site in Melbourn, FL. We also provide painting services to many of Rockwell's other suppliers. Supplied products include a variety of metal avionics components such as knobs, bezels, pointers and ID strips and plastics components such as light diffusers and light blocks. We pride ourselves on our ability to supply Rockwell with many of their difficult-to-source components, such as laser-cut light Reflectors and Diffusers with PSA backing.
Honeywell
Honeywell is another of our long-time avionics customers. We are in complete compliance with all of Honeywell's business needs, including Long-term Contracts, Pay-by-receipt Accounting and Bar Coding. We fully utilize Honeywell's on-line supplier portal forForecasting, Order Scheduling and Quality. Prime Products supplies a variety of components to Honeywell, from sophisticated illuminated assemblies to simple machined plastic components. We also specialize in brokering parts for Honeywell, providing added value by allowing them to consolodate their supply base in order to work with a supplier that comply with all of their quality and other business system requirements. We work primarily with Honeywell's Olathe, KS and Phoenix, AZ sites, in addition to their overseas sites in Singapore and Malaysia.
IEE
Our primary product for IEE is illuminated key sets for military applications. Although the product variety is less than for our other top customers, the volumes of products manufactured make IEE one of our top customers.
L-3 Communications
L-3 has been our customer since the company was founded in 1975. Prime Products has been able to assist L-3 with their desired use of large blanket orders with multiple shipping lots which typically last for one year and shipped as needed by the buyer. We supply a variety of components to L-3, most commonly to support their mechanical avionics products. L-3's Eotech division is a relatively new customer that provides a significant volume of Holographic Gun Sight (HWS) components for us to paint.
Shure
Shure has been a welcome addition to our customer base, providing diversification outside of the aerospace industry. We provide painting, screen-printing, pad-printing and laser engraving services directly for Shure, as well as for many of their sub-tier suppliers. Our experience in complying with the stringent cosmetic requirements of the aerospace industry made us a good fit for Shure's high-end audio equipment. Their industry-leading products demand rugged testing of paint finish durability and tight control of color and gloss parameters.
