Screen & Pad Printing

With over 35 years of experience in contract manufacturing, Prime Products is an industry leader in meeting the printing needs of our customers.

Prime Products’ screen printing capabilities include printing on both flat and cylindrical objects, and we can pad print in one-color, open cup or two-color, closed cup formats. Parts with flat and smooth surfaces are typically screen-printed with nearly no limit to the artwork size. Curved or textured surfaces are typically pad printed with an artwork size up to 3” diameter.

Additionally, we can use rotary screen printing to print on cylindrical objects such as small drums and wheels. We can print with many different ink types, including Nazdar, Trans-Tech and GT Products, on a wide variety of materials including plastics, composites, metals, painted surfaces and silicone. We offer plasma (corona) treating when necessary to ensure optimal ink adhesion.

Beginning with in-house designed CAD artwork, we develop the film, produce screens and clichés, manufacture the holding fixtures, and perform custom color matching. Our equipment capabilities offer micrometer bases, automatic printer, and vinyl cutter/plotter. Our engineers can create the files we need based on your fully dimensioned drawing or, to save on NRE charges, you can supply the artwork file in.dxf, .dwg, .eps, .ai and .cdr file formats.

We use our CMM to inspect all screening set ups and our high quality graphics are also checked using the optical comparator and 40X microscope. Providing a tolerance of ±.002″ ensures that we produce components with very high-detailed graphics.
